Out of School Time Organizations
These are organizations offering programs for K-12 youth while they are not in school. We are proud to support organizations that focus on:
Youth Leadership – developing the leadership capacity of young people
Hopa Mountain’s Youth Leadership Camp
Mentoring – adults or older young people working one-on-one or in small groups with youth for academic and life skills support and companionship
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County and the Flathead Reservation
School assistance/tutoring – programs that offer academic assistance or augmentation or help with school work
Culture – programs that teach or immerse young people in their cultural identity.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Cheyenne Nation
Enrichment – programs that offer experiences often cut from school curriculum such as arts and music.
Intervention – programs working with students identified as at-risk for dropping out of school or participating in negative behaviors to turn their lives around.
